（本報訊）8月15日早，市長佈魯斯·哈雷爾簽署4項法案，以加強城市範圍內的墮胎權利保護。
一項法案讓接受或尋求墮胎的民眾視為西雅圖的受保護階層，以確保他們的公民權利。另一個項法案將干涉墮胎或阻止尋求性別確認護理的人視為輕罪。
第3項法案將西雅圖確立為尋求墮胎民眾的庇護城市，並阻止西雅圖警察局執行州外搜查令。最後一條法案預留了25萬美元的城市納稅人資金，以增加在西雅圖市區範圍內尋求墮胎服務的機會。
西雅圖市議會議員Lisa Herbold和Tammy Morales為其中兩項法案提供贊助，並與哈雷爾一同簽署了法案。

Abortion is harmful to any woman.
When the woman is pregnant, a new beautiful human body is being developed inside her body. A spirit is preparing to enter the human world through entering this magnificent body. Most of the social problems of modern life is linked to abortion.
The Seattle Mayor must understand the Law of the Universe. Human beings are subjected to spiritual principles, which are taught throughout human history, from East to West, in all schools of religions and spiritual practices, and are the core of human moral values. As a leader who receives the support from Seattle People via taking a high salary from Seattle People’s Tax Dollars, using the public resource of Seattle People, but passing laws in Seattle that not only fail to protect Seattle women, but encouraging Seattle women to commit wrong doings that destroy their happiness, health and all hopes of success, Seattle Mayor is facing terrible consequences which will harm himself, his family and all his supporters. This is a very serious mistake that shall be rectified in Seattle, by Seattle People, immediately.
